Who are gnomes?

Owing to their beginnings in the English countryside, gnomes aren't out of place in the garden. Forever inspired by the folky and sunny disposed and named after a canal boat: The Gnome of Rishton Too.
Their first album was recorded in a friend's basement on a shoestring in 2014, and gnomes went quiet for a decade, only putting out the odd bedroom-produced release. During lockdown, they teamed up with DJ & producer Sam White who produced scoville, ruin my day and lift for them from his Bristol studio.
Summer '23 gnomes moved to Berlin and found it fertile soil for their musical expression. They released their live Boon EP in early 2024, produced by Jamie-Collier. Performing live with Blake Farha and Fred Branca, they also worked with Sam Hanlan at the Famous Gold Watch to produce Chilblains and Gameboy. Look out for gnomes releases throughout 2025.
